Semarang LBH condemns halt to yet another church project

Another saddening case illustrating the scrutiny and discrimination faced by religious minority in Indonesia with regard to their right to places of worship. The construction of a Baptist church in Semarang, Central Java, has been halted on the sentiment of the intolerant groups, despite that the construction project had already obtained the necessary building permit (IMB).
